Four units are rent restricted to be affordable at 50% of Area Median Income and 6 are restricted at 60% of Median. The remaining 8 units are not income-restricted and are rented at market rates.
Freeport Housing Trust purchased the property in 1993 with financial assistance from MaineHousing. Extensive renovations were completed to meet Life Safety Code and provide good quality rental housing. In the ensuing years FHT has continued to upgrade the property, including major interior and exterior improvements in 2007 and conversion to natural gas for heat and hot water.
