Freeport Housing Trust purchased the property in 1993 with financial assistance from MaineHousing. Extensive renovations were completed to meet Life Safety Code and provide good quality rental housing. In the ensuing years FHT has continued to upgrade the property, including major energy conservation improvements and conversion to natural gas for heat and hot water. In 2016 the kitchen of one unit was completely renovated.
